1. Fate/Zero

In the episode 18 of Fate/Zero, Alimango Island appeared. Far from the town in the jungle of the island, there is mansion that is said to be built next to the former location of the shrine. People of the town do not go near it due to legends also saying those who go near it too often will be cursed, so Norikata Emiya (Kiritsugu's father) uses it to practice magecraft in secrecy. The entire population is killed by the Mage's Association and Holy Church after being turned into ghouls by Shirley.

In real life, Alimango Island located in Negros Occidental, in the middle of the Visayas of Philippines. Alimango is the Spanish word for crab, also Filipino use the same word.

Shirley, one of character in the Alimango Island is actually born as a native of Alimango Island. So she is Filipino. She is two years older than Kiritsugu and became close friends of him.

2. Charlotte

5. Blade

Manila appeared in the Episode 4 and 5 of Blade anime. It's begin with Blade visit Manila to save his old friend from the clutches of the Frost Deacon group. After rescued his friend, he gats a hint that Frost is residing in an island in the region and goes there. The island is Isla del Fuego (Fire Island) or known as Siquijor, an island in the southeast of Cebu.

In Siquijor Island, there are three Verdugos (Guardians of Siquiore Island), Lupit, Cimarron and Hagibus. They are all Filipino and looking for Manananggal which has been freed by Deacon Frost.

The Manananggal (sometimes confused with the Wak wak, Aswang also translates literally to "Remover") is a vampire-like mythical creature of the Philippines, a malevolent, man-eating and blood-sucking monster or witch.

Pinatubo eruption) but the Philippines is still intact with the Americans on the culture, as with any other Anglo-American country.
